We're excited to announce Vase Data Trust, an initiative to open up our internal researches' proprietary datasets to the public and allow you to analyse, find insights, and publish results.

At Vase, we have built an incredible capability to collect nationally representative data from Malaysians fast, and we believe that the public should get access to this capability too. Staying true to our mission to make human insights accessible instantly to everyone, we have decided to open up this capability to the community.

Every month, we will be running a 1,000 sample, nationally representative survey in Malaysia. Data collected from the survey will be shared publicly via our analytics dashboard for anyone to analyse. All data shared under Data Trust is licensed under CC BY 4.0.

Other than getting access to the data, you will be able to influence what questions are being asked too. We will be sourcing questions from the public every month, with priority given to academics, media orgs, and government officials to begin with.

Please email us by 7th of every month at [email protected] with the list of questions that you would like to ask. Questions will be included on a case-by-case basis.

To kickstart the initiative, we have released the dataset for March on Malaysian Dating Trends And Sexual Habit Data. You can access the data here.

We're excited to see where this will bring us, and hope that Data Trust will help businesses/governments to understand consumers/citizens better, and build Malaysia's workforce to be more data-driven. We can't wait to see what you ask!
